Friday night, we worked a City church's Friday night Kid's Bible Club. Our team led the song time; the teaching time, using the resurrection eggs, helped led small groups that did memory work and quiet time checks, and led the games for two different age groups. It was a good night. Perhaps the best for our kids was stopping at McDonald's on the way back to the house! And, that was after having Kentucky Fried Chicken at home for dinner tonight before we went. Tomorrow, on Saturday, we will go out into another township. We will be in the church with some evangelism training and then we will go in groups out into home visits. Pray that we will be able to share our testimonies and the gospel clearly. Pray that some will accept Christ while we are with them. Pray for the local church that will do follow-up work and ministry with these people after we return to United States. This township is the home of Chris, the seminary student who has been faithful to minister with all and guide us all week long.

  1. To the entire King's S.Africa team:

Thank you for sharing your work and activities with us here at home. The pictures and daily summaries make us feel closer to where you are. It looks like you are being welcomed wherever you go and have had opportunities to share The Message with many. We look forward to seeing you back here soon and hearing your stories.

PS. Darren: Mom and I hope you are doing well. What you and your classmates and teachers are doing will have everlasting benefits. Continue to allow God to work in and through you. Continue to pray often and to listen for His leading. See you soon. Love, Mom and Dad

  4. Congratulations to you all on a job well done and for letting God use you. What a blessing to live in a age where we can be well informed through such technology, and thank you for keeping us informed of all the areas where God is using you, which is an inspiration to us.

Julian, we are so proud of you and we miss you. We are looking forward to hearing from you first hand of your experiences on this mission and to see what you have brought us from SA. Chris went to the Gym with Grandpop to get in shape.

  6. Thank you all for your sacrificial service to our Lord during this trip - it has been so encouraging to hear on a daily basis how He has been using you all to bring the good news of the gospel to those who so desperately need to hear it. Finish strong! We can't wait to see you all (especially you, Trev!) and hear more about how the Lord has worked in and through you this trip!
